Michael T. McCormack, President of O’Sullivan McCormack Jensen Markim PC, has been named “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Litigation in the Hartford, Connecticut region by Best Lawyers® in the 33ʳᵈ edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for 2027.

This is the third time that Mike has received the “Lawyer of the Year” designation for Insurance Litigation, after having previously been recognized in the 2023 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America®.  This recognition, given only to a single lawyer in each practice area and geographic region in any year, is based on a peer review survey of colleagues in the legal industry.  In addition to having been designated as a Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Litigation in three of the last five years, Mike has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for his experience representing clients in insurance litigation matters each year since 2018.  At O’Sullivan McCormack Jensen & Markim, Mike leads the firm’s insurance coverage and recovery practice, representing insurance policyholders in complex insurance matters.
